That's Real Good™ Chicken Pot Pie
Tender shredded chicken and vegetables in a rich, savory filling seasoned with That's Real Good™ All-Purpose Seasoning and baked beneath a flaky golden crust for the ultimate comfort-food meal.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 2 tablespoons That's Real Good™ All-Purpose Seasoning
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- ½ cup milk
- 2 refrigerated/frozen pie crusts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place one pie crust into a deep 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions and potatoes and cook for 5–7 minutes, or until slightly softened.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in chicken broth and milk.
- Add That's Real Good™ All-Purpose Seasoning and stir until the mixture thickens.
- Fold in shredded chicken and peas and carrots.
- Pour filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Top with the second pie crust and crimp the edges.
- Cut several small slits in the top crust to vent steam.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Allow the pot pie to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
